High consistency pulper
- Batch pulper that operates with high consistency pulp producing vigorous rubbing among fibres giving rise to a shive-free pulp.
- Essential for de-inking installations with a high degree of ink separation and favourable consumption of chemical products and steam.
- Successful applications in W.S., cellulose and O.C.C.
Medium and low consistency pulper
- Pulper for continuous pulping or batch pulping at consistencies of between 3 and 8%.
- Rotor designed for high pumping and disintegration performance with favourable energy consumption
- It is used for the disintegration of waste paper, cellulose and installations for the treatment of broke resulting from the manufacture of paper and converting.
Pear-shaped disposal unit and pear-shaped cleaner
- An auxiliary pulper which is applied to pulpers used for batch pulping or continuous pulping of waste paper, increases efficiency up to between 20 and 25% and extracts pollutants intact.
- It does away with the need to clean the pulper, stabilises the consistency of the discharge and saves on energy.
Thick pulp purifiers
- A highly effective thick pulp purifier used for separating metals, stones, thick grain sand.
- It is usually positioned at the beginning of the pulp circuit and protects the deflakers and refiners as well as the screen sieves thus saving on the cost of spare parts.
- It is able to operate with pulp consistencies of between 1.5 and 5%.
Vibrating sieves
- Thanks to the sheet metal used for screening, perforated with cylindrical-conical holes and their high vibration frequency, the vibrating sieves are highly effective.
- They can operate at variable concentrations and flows.
- A very good evacuation of rejects is guaranteed.
- The use of a vibrating sieve is recommended whenever it is necessary to recover the good fibres which are mixed with the rejects.
Horizontal screens
Uniscreen
- This screen extracts pollutants extremely effectively from consistencies of between 2 and 3.5% with a weak flow of pulp in that of the rejects.
- It is very stable when operating and does not clog. It can be equipped with perforated or grooved sieves.
Multinet
- Double screen with an initial chamber with a perforated grill for preliminary screening as well as a light deflaking and a second chamber equipped with a grooved sieve for fine screening.
- An input consistency of up to 5% and an output consistency of up to 3.5%.
- It makes the pulp circuit simpler and is a great saving on energy.
Tailnet
- Very effective last stage screen with automatic washing cycles preventing loss of fibres.
- Can be equipped with a perforated grille and even a deflaker and with a grooved sieve.
Equipment for flotation de-inking
Flottank
- A highly efficient de-inking cell where 1 or 2 cells are sufficient to obtain high levels of whiteness.
- De-inking by suction with low fibre loss.
- Secondary cells are not necessary.
- Saving on installation space and low energy consumption.
Circular-shaped thickeners
- Thickening from an input consistency of 1,5% to 4% without a press roll and up to 6% when using a press roll.
- Low fibre content in strained water.
Inclined Screw Thickeners
- Can be used with all types of pulps and has an excellent thickening and cleaning effect working with input concentrations from 2% and output concentrations of up to 16%.
- Stable performance, no clogging and needs little installation space.
Screw Press
- Double sieve draining area and pressure area (high pressure) in two parts.
- Double casing.
- Worm screw with anti-wear and tear coils designed in accordance with application.
- Pneumatic pressure regulation system.
- Construction: the parts in contact with the product are manufactured in stainless steel.
- High resistance.
Dispersion
LICAR’s heat treatment system makes it possible to obtain a highly homogeneous pulp from recycled paper thanks to:
- Total dispersion of wax, paraffin, inks, pigments etc., by means of a combination of a mechanical action and a temperature of between 60ºC and 100ºC.
- Dispersion and separation of hot-melts.
- Subsequent separation of glues by means of changes in temperature.
- Combined friction and temperature actions resulting in the fibrillation of moisture resistant paper.
Compacting press
- It is installed in the impurity discharge point of the auxiliary pulpers (Netpulper and Dumpulper).
- The action of a hydraulic press dehydrates the pollutants, thus reducing the volume, and transports them away from the area where the pollutants from the pulper are discharged.
Horizontal agitators
- For storage tanks, mixing and machine head.
- Wide range of diameters.
- Low energy consumption.

Machine head
Low consistency Cyclonic Purifiers
- Highly efficient in the separation of heavy and light impurities.
- Various cyclonic purifiers are installed and they are highly efficient in the separation of impurities with no fibre content in the rejects.
Pressure-closed Purifiers
Ultranet
- Especially for machine head circuits before the input box.
- It works centripetally with an extremely low pulse level.
- It can be equipped with sieves with holes or grooves.
- It can also be used in pulp preparation circuits for fine screening.
Pulper for the pulping of Wet and Dry Broke
- Pulper for disintegrating paper when there are breaks in Presses, Size-Press.
- The pulper is installed at the bottom of the machine.
