History

1954

LICAR is founded in Tolosa (Gipuzkoa) where it starts manufacturing pulp preparation machinery and centrifugal pumps under the Lamort - Turo license in its 4500 m2 manufacturing plant.

1963

LICAR signs a collaboration agreement with EGGER Pumpen in which the latter becomes a shareholder of LICAR and starts manufacturing EGGER pumps in Tolosa for Spain and Portugal.

1990

Opening of the LICAR Delegation in Portugal for pulp preparation machinery.

1998

LICAR and EGGER Pumpen separate, but LICAR continues to manufacture pumps exclusively for EGGER Pumpen.

2005

Opening of the LICAR branch in Mexico for pulp preparation machinery.

2008

LICAR ceases collaboration with EGGER Pumpen and LICAR resumes direct sales of pumps and pulp preparation machinery.
