TYPE OF PUMPS

Pumps with CHANNEL impeller

Channel Impeller. Type D.

Channel impellers incorporate discharge back vanes on the pressure side to balance axial thrust and shaft seal relief.

All housings have an interchangeable wear wall on the suction side. Depending on the size, they are also fitted with a sealing ring in the same way as the impeller.

The pump shaft is protected by a sleeve and does not come into contact with the pumped liquid.

They are manufactured in horizontal and vertical mounting, dry or submersible.

In dry mounting, the suction can be provided with an additional part with a quick-opening window.

Use

The channel impeller pump is a single-stage pump and is mainly used with liquids that do not form lumps, for example:

  • Pumping of pre-treated waste water.
  • Liquids with solid particles.
  • Chemical waters.
