ACCIONA (BAHR AL BAQAR WWTP)
ACCIONA will complete, by the end of 2021, the construction of the Bahr Al Baqr Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) in Egypt, the largest in Africa and one of the largest in the world.
Located in northwest Egypt, the Bahr Al Baqr WWTP will have a capacity of 5.6 million m3/day.
It will have four treatment lines with a capacity of 5,000,000 m3/day each, and will be equipped with advanced procedures for raw water pumping, coagulation, flocculation, decantation, filtration and disinfection to produce water of optimum quality for irrigation of local crops.
LICAR Pumps participates, hand in hand with ACCIONA, with the supply of horizontal pumps type T, displaced impeller and type TES, semi-open impeller:

- Sludge recirculation pumps
