Dry mounting

H = Horizontal version with bearing bracket. Alternative with stuffing box (DIN 3780) or mechanical seal (DIN 24960).

HF = Horizontal monobloc pump. Foot and flange motor. Only with mechanical seal (DIN 24960).

Bearing housings

Bearing housings for dry mounting are provided with oil bath lubricated bearings.

In the VK design (vertical mounting with motor away from the pump) the bearings are grease lubricated.

All bearings are designed for a minimum life of 16,000 hours.

Version A

Normal design with two single row ball bearings.

Version B

Reinforced housing, equipped on the drive side with two single row oblique ball bearings.

Version C

Reinforced housing for axial forces, equipped on the drive side with three single-row oblique ball bearings.

Shaft sealing

Different types of sealing according to DIN standards are used:

  • Stepped
  • Mechanical seal
  • Hydrodynamic seal

Packing execution according to DIN 3780

Hydrodynamic seal

Single mechanical seal according to DIN 24960 (with flow restrictor).

Double mechanical seal according to DIN 24960 (I1-K) back-to-back mounting (with external circulation).

Single mechanical seal acc. to DIN 24960 (I1-K) (without sealing liquid).

Double mechanical seal acc. to DIN 24960 (I1-K) tandem mounting (with sealing liquid).

Advantages

  • High flexibility in the choice of sealing.
  • Identical shaft sleeve for all sealing types.
  • Minimum stock of spare parts.
  • Reduced maintenance.
  • The shaft is never in contact with the liquid. Carbon steel can be used independently of the materials of the hydraulic part.

Other type of constructions

  • Vertical

  • Submersible
