Dry mounting
V = Vertical pump with bearing bracket. Flanged motor mounted on the bracket. Sealing by stuffing box (DIN 3780) or mechanical seal (DIN 24960).
VF = Identical to HF but in vertical execution.
VK = Same as V but with motor away from the pump. Cardan shaft drive.
Installation in wells
S = Vertical execution, submerged hydraulic part, external motor. Shafts and intermediate bearings mounted in watertight support tube. Standardized rod lengths.
F = Vertical execution, submerged hydraulic part, external motor. Shafts and intermediate bearings mounted in watertight support tube. Without manhole cover and with support foot.
SO = Vertical pump without bottom bearing and shaft sealing. Limited speed and length.
SOF/FOF = Vertical cantilever pump, identical to SO, but in monobloc.
Bearing support and sealing
Bearing versions

SG: Plain bearing, single mechanical seal with lubricating liquid and internal seal.

SR: Plain bearing, with radial seal and grease lubrication.

SW: Plain bearing in synthetic material, without shaft sealing. Lubrication by own fluid or external supply.
Non-bearing versions
Advantages of cantilever pumps:
- No bearings inside the pumped liquid.
- No shaft seals in the pumped liquid.
- Operational safety.
- Low maintenance.
